900Introduction#
This section of the department manual will go over all policies that this agency has placed into effect to regulate the standards all of our FTO's must abide by.
901Field Training Officer Standard Operating Procedure ("FTO SOP")#
The Field Training Officer - Standard Operating Procedure must be followed at all times. The FTO SOP will include everything which is needed to train new LSPD Officers. Violations of the Field Training Officer - Standard Operating Procedure will result in disciplinary action.
902FTO Chain of Command Member Duties#
The Field Training Coordinator handles all incoming FTO applicants, ensures FTO's are giving new members quality training, and updates all documents associated with the FTO program to keep information provided up to date. The Training Lieutenant must report monthly updates on the FTO Program to LSPD Administration.
